Hydrogen Fuel Cell Fork Lift event

Presentations

Over 40 people met at the Hydrogen Centre for the hydrogen powered fork lift event. During the day there were presentations about the University of Glamorgan's progress in hydrogen research leading to the establishing of the Hydrogen Centre; an explanation of how fuel cells work; presentations from industry, Ballard, Hydrogenics, Air Liquide and finally from International Business Wales about the advantages of setting up a business in Wales.

During the refreshment breaks delegates discussed the advantages of hydrogen powered fork lifts.

Car Park

The Centre has ample parking for visitors and can accommodate up to 50 delegates. Similar industry awareness-raising events will be held in the future for example for hydrogen and fuel application in:
* remote power installations,
* uninterrupted power supplies,
* vehicles
